The Surface Design Show

Surface Design Show is unique in the UK, focusing exclusively on surfaces for building design.

Architects, interior designers and building specifiers can get within touching distance of hundreds of inspirational interior and exterior surface products.

Now in it’s eighth year, Surface Design Show inspires, informs and innovates.

Concrete, cardboard, veneer, carpet, parquet, stretched ceilings, acoustic panelling, recycled trainers and holographic mirrors; their is something for everyone with an inquisitive mind at SDS 2011

Soundtect showed their multi-dimensional, sculpted, acoustic panels that give a discrete sound-control system wrapped in sophisticated design.

The Extraordinary Surface Testing Station

This is the fifth year that the University of Huddersfield has exhibited at the International Surface Design trade show, this year under the banner The Extraordinary Surface Testing Station

This year the Show theme was material thinking and the focus for the feature stand was on research, material thinking and material testing which worked perfectly with the shows theme “material thinking”

The stand was a real highlight of the event and received a great review in the Tepilo blog
